For the past few months I’ve been working with Marc Smolowitz (an Academy Award-nominated film, television & new media producer, “The Weather Underground” 2003, “Trembling Before G-d” 2001). He works on plenty of projects but the two projects that I’ve been involved with is The Power of Two (http://www.thepoweroftwomovie.com/) and The HIV Story Project (The website is in development, http://www.thehivstoryproject.org/). Both projects are for great causes, The Power of Two is movie about the importance of organ donation and transplantation, Cystic Fibrosis awareness and related health causes. The HIV Story Project is a short film compilation of stories that shed light on the world’s most substantial health pandemic. Both are non-profit documentary films, and both are currently in production for the next year (so if you are reading this and are in a giving mood go to their websites and donate :) ). It’s hard for me to express in sentences how being involved on these projects have made me feel so I will use a few adjectives; excited (to be involved), aware (of other’s lives), appreciative (of these two projects), creative (lots of ideas flowing) and grateful (to be alive). If you look under my professional projects you will see numerous campaigns to promote both of these projects. I am excited for what is to come on both of these important projects.
